Superficial cervicovaginal myofibroblastoma is characterized by a monotonous proliferation of bland ovoid, spindle, or stellate cells arranged in a monotonous pattern.






Note the bland appearance of the stellate cells in this image. The lesion is moderately cellular, and there is a background of delicate wavy collagen. Note the scattered background lymphocytes image.
