Malignant melanoma of the vulva image may form a polypoid mass that can show hemorrhage and necrosis.






Malignant melanoma can present as a large, flat, irregularly shaped, hyperpigmented macule image associated with satellite lesions image.

Familial



  • CDKN2A and CDK4 mutations



    • Linked to cases of familial melanoma


    • Only account for a small percentage of familial melanoma cases
