Primary malignant melanoma of the ovary often shows a diffuse growth of cells with abundant eosinophilic cytoplasm. Signet ring-like cells image may rarely be seen.






Primary malignant melanoma may display an admixture of polygonal and spindle cells that may contain intracytoplasmic melanin pigment.
