SARS infection shows extensive areas of congestion, edema image, and hyaline membranes image. All these features are compatible with diffuse alveolar damage caused by SARS-CoV.






SARS shows the classic features of hyaline membranes image and pneumocyte type II hyperplasia image, which are compatible with DAD.
