This poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma involves the ampulla image and the duodenum image.






The neoplastic cells image of this poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma show scant cytoplasm, hyperchromatic nuclei, and nuclear moulding. Note the overlying reactive biliary-type epithelium image.
