Microscopic Pathology
Thick, haphazardly arranged collagen fibers
Unencapsulated with low cellularity
Entrapped adipose and skeletal muscle
Proliferation of peripheral nerves
Ancillary Tests
Positive: Vimentin, CD34, nuclear β-catenin
Top Differential Diagnoses
Elastofibroma, fibrolipoma, desmoid-type fibromatoses, nuchal fibrocartilaginous pseudotumor
