In lipoprotein glomerulopathy, glomeruli have segmentally dilated capillaries filled with pale-staining lipid material image that is not well preserved in routine paraffin sections.






The lipid thrombi image distend glomerular capillaries in lipoprotein glomerulopathy and are well preserved in fresh frozen tissue and positive with oil red O.
