A 47-year-old man presents to your office for a yearly checkup. He is 5 foot 10 inches tall, weighs 250 pounds, smokes two packs of cigarettes a day, and “slams down” 12 ounces of whiskey a day. He is a truck driver and is on the road a lot. He frequently eats at “fast-food joints.”
