Arteriovenous hemangioma is composed of a circumscribed proliferation of thick-walled muscular vessels that resemble arteries image and thin-walled ectatic veins image.






This higher power image of arteriovenous hemangioma demonstrates the ectatic thin-walled veins image and the thicker walled vessels resembling arteries image. The vessels have flattened endothelium.
