Angiolipomas are biphasic tumors composed of mature adipocytes image and branching, capillary-sized blood vessels image.






Angiolipomas are surrounded by a delicate capsule image, and the vascular component is often most prominent in the subcapsular region.

  • Biphasic tumor consisting of mature adipocytes and thin-walled blood vessels with fibrin thrombi

Familial Predilection



  • In a minority of cases (5%)


  • Remainder are sporadic
