CASE 21
A 20-year-old man presented to the emergency department with a 3-week history of moderate fever, cough, shortness of breath, weight loss, and anorexia. He complained about a draining lesion on his left chest wall.
The patient had recently emigrated from Pakistan and had a history of severe periodontal disease.
