Microscopic Pathology
Vascular proliferation resembling small capillaries
Slightly dilated and irregular in shape
Lined by single layer of bland endothelial cells
Top Differential Diagnoses
Angiosarcoma
Previously termed infantile hemangioendothelioma type 2
Key distinguishing feature is nuclear atypia of endothelial cells
